Changing Seasons - Part 3

Now that we have good hygiene and a good diet what else can we do?  I would suggest keeping some great essential oils on hand that may help with the various things we experience with the changing seasons.

Some of the very best immune boosting type essential oils are: Melissa (very expensive and only available seasonally.  A little goes a loooog way.  So dilute 1:100.  Oregano, Ravintsara, Basil, Blue Cypress, Hinoki, Mountain Savory, Eucalyptus Radiata, Melaleuca Alternafolia (tea tree), Melaleuca Ericiafolia an dMelaleuca Quinquenervia.

Some essential oils that are great for respiratory support are: Dorado azul, Eucalyptus blue, Eucalyptus Dives, Eucalyptus Globules (this one is an expectorant), Ravintsara, Breathe Again (my favorite) and Hyssop.

Anti-inflammatory essential oils are great to have on hand ALL THE TIME.  Because seriously, do you ever deal with inflammation?  Some good ones are: Idaho Balsam Fir, Frankincense (my absolute favorite oil of all time), Palo Santo and Copaiba.

And since the lymphatic system is so important to flushing out those nasty toxins we minus well get some oils that may help support the Lymph.  How about Ledum, Laurus Nobilis, Cedarwood, Melrose (one of my new loves) and Purification.

When using essential oils on people it is always best to refer to the Essential Oil Desk Reference (EODR) for application methods, and Gentle Babies for children and babies.  These are available at www.abundanthealth4u.com and growinghealthyhomes.com

*Much of the above information came from the Essential Oil Desk Reference (EODR).  You can get your very own EODR at www.abundanthealth4u.com and begin your Young Living Essential Oil journey today.*
