Feelings Kit Part 7 - Inner Child

Today we will talk about the fifth oil applied in the Feelings Kit: Inner Child

Inner Child oil blend contains: Orange (Citrus aurantium), tangerine (Citrus nobilis), jasmine (Jasminum officinale), ylang ylang (Cananga odorata), spruce (Picea mariana), sandalwood (Santalum album), lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus), and neroli (Citrus aurantium).

When using this kit it is suggested that the Inner Child oil blend is applied just under your nose as Step 6, followed by a second application of Valor to complete the Feelings Kit.  Here is what the Young Living website has to say about this blend: Inner Child™ opens the pathway to connecting with the inner self that may have been damaged through childhood misuse or abuse. When children have been abused, they become disconnected from their natural identity, or inner child. This causes confusion and can contribute to undesirable personality traits. The sweet fragrance of this blend may stimulate memory response and help reconnect with the authentic self, which is one of the first steps toward finding emotional balance.

Feelings Kit Part 6 - Release

Today we will talk about the fifth oil applied in the Feelings Kit: Release

Release oil blend contains: Ylang ylang (Cananga odorata), lavandin (Lavandula x hybrida), geranium (Pelargonium graveolens), sandalwood (Santalum album) and blue tansy (Tanacetum annuum) in a base of olive oil.

When using this kit it is suggested that the Release oil blend is applied over the liver as Step 5.  Here is what the Young Living website has to say about this blend: Release™ combines uplifting, calming oils that stimulate a sense of peace and emotional well-being, which in turn facilitate the ability to release anger and frustration. Repressed negative emotions lie at the root of many health concerns. Release promotes harmony and balance in the mind and body.

Feelings Kit Part 5 - Present Time

Today we will talk about the fourth oil applied in the Feelings Kit: Present Time
Present Time oil blend contains: Neroli (Citrus aurantium), spruce (Picea mariana) and ylang ylang (Cananga odorata) in a base of almond oil.
When using this kit it is suggested that the Present Time oil blend is applied to the wrists and behind the ears as Step 4.  Here is what the Young Living website has to say about this blend: Present Time™ has an empowering fragrance that heightens the sense of being "in the moment." Concentrating on the past can be counterproductive. You can go forward and progress when you focus on the present time.

Feelings Kit Part 4 - Forgiveness

Today we will talk about the third oil applied in the Feelings Kit: Forgiveness

Yes, I said forgiveness!  This is a big one, and it can often be a difficult step to process.  Be honest with yourself, and if possible, don't block what the Lord brings to you.  Tears (if you need to shed them) can be cleansing.

Forgiveness oil blend contains: Melissa, geranium, frankincense, rosewood, sandalwood, angelica, lavender, lemon, jasmine, Roman chamomile, bergamot, ylang ylang, palmarosa, helichrysum, and rose in a base of sesame seed oil.  Wow! What an amazing list of oils!

When using this kit it is suggested that the Forgiveness oil is applied to the belly button (navel) as Step 3.  Here is what the Young Living website has to say about this blend: Forgiveness™ contains a synergistic blend of soothing and uplifting essential oils that may enhance the ability to release hurtful memories and move beyond emotional barriers. The process of growth can only proceed when we have the ability to forgive and let go of negative emotions.

Feelings Kit Part 3 - Harmony

Today we will talk about the second oil applied in the Feelings Kit: Harmony.

Harmony oil blend contains: Sandalwood, lavender, ylang ylang, frankincense and more!

When using this kit it is suggested that the Harmony oil is applied to the 'Chakra' points as Step 2.  Honestly, I have an issue with the term chakra, so I simply apply to the forehead, chest and tummy; or draw a line down my head and torso with the oil on my finger tip.  As a general rule of thumb, I inhale each oil deeply with several large breaths before I apply them to my body.  This allows our mind and bodies get in a position to receive what we are about to apply.  I also feel it helps me to stop, slow down and focus on the Lord and whatever He may want to show me.

Harmony may be balancing and calming.
