Healing Wings - Book Trailer

Since some of you don't know me or very much of my story I decided to put together two short trailers to give a bit of a teaser about my memoir Healing Wings.

Healing Wings is currently under Amazon review, so here's to hoping it will be out for publication and purchase in the next few weeks at most.  In the meantime, enjoy!

By-the-way, these trailers are not professionally made and may have a few errors in them.  A little grace would be appreciated.

7 Reasons | Full Abortion Movie 2019 (HQ)

Abortion is a HOT topic these days.  Actually, I remember it being a hot topic in the late '80's, so it seems not much has changed, but rather it has just become more of an inferno.

7 Reasons is a long-ish 42 minute movie consisting of spontaneous interview clips.  It is thought provoking.  If you will take the 'dare' to watch this and allow yourself to be challenged, then you must watch from start to finish.  No turning it off a few minutes in, half way through, or near the end.  You must watch it all.  And you need to commit to watching it without yelling and screaming at the screen in front of you, but rather just listening and processing.

So many of us get into heated debates on this subject and we are so ready to yell and spew our thoughts that we never allow ourselves to sit, think, absorb and process both sides of the debate.  Here is your chance.

Lets remember what the Bible says in

Pslam 139:13, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb."

and what God says in the Bible in

Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

God knew us, knit us and created us while we were still in our mother's womb.  We already had purpose and worth.

Accidents Happen

Last Friday I was involved in an auto accident.  My Mom, Mackenzie and I went out for lunch (which we never get to do) and really enjoyed ourselves; that is until on the way home.  I was driving and we were involved in an accident that was not my fault.  The other person attempted an illegal maneuver and it didn't go over so well.  Everyone seemed to be OK, but you never really know; especially with adrenaline flowing.

All I know is that after the police came I went to be checked out by the midwife and after starting to have contractions that escalated and soreness in the belly area I went for an ultrasound.  Although these appointments are not conclusive everything "looks" to be alright, and by the Grace Of God we are claiming that everything is alright.  Now we are dealing with the insurance to get the car fixed.  I also hope they replace the car seat for peace of mind.  Hey, a 36 pound 2-year-old was riding in it during the impact.

Things like this remind me of the frailty of life, and truly make me cherish my family and friends.  So please, no one else get in a car accident, ok?  Good, I'm glad you comply :)
